What requirements/documents do I need before I submit my application online?
To register as a Vector Control Operator, companies must fulfil the following requirements:
i. Register with ACRA
ii. (For NEW registering companies) Employ* at least one active full Vector Control Technician with at least 3 years of experience in vector control works.*The Full active VCT is required to submit an Amend application via GoBusiness portal to include the registering VCO company's name and UEN under working experience as his/her 'Current employer'. Any VCT application(s) related to this VCO application have to be approved first before this VCO application can be processed.
The following documents are required:
i. At least 1 licensed full Vector Control Technician under the applicant’s employment and has held a full Vector Control Technician licence for at least 3 years.
ii. Supporting documents to prove that the full Vector Control Technician (in part (i)) has at least 3 years of experience in vector control works. E.g. testimonial/employment letter which states the period of employment (at least 3 consecutive years) in the field of work related to vector control, description of the vector control job duties performed by the personnel within the stated period of employment, and the last date of employment in the field of vector control should be within the 3 years preceding the date of application.
iii. A list of full and provisional Vector Control Technicians and Workers employed, including the name, NRIC/Employment Pass/Work Permit number and vector control licence/ certificate type.Documents can be uploaded in the "Supporting Documents" section towards the end of the online application.

How soon can my application be processed?

How can I receive my certificate of registration for Vector Control Operator?
The electronic certificate of registration for Vector Control Operator will be emailed to you. There shall be no responsibility on the part of NEA should there be any loss/damage of the certificate of registration in the transition. -
What should I do if my computer hangs while I am making payment?
If your computer hangs before reaching the acknowledgement page, your payment is considered unsuccessful. You may verify that is no deduction was made from your Bank Account through Internet Banking. Thereafter, proceed to make payment again. -
What is a material change?
Material change refer to change made to your details reflected on your certificate of registration which require a reprint. E.g. Name of Company, Registered Address of Company. Non-material change refer to change made to your details not reflected on your certificate. E.g. E-mail addresses, contact numbers.
