Application Details

Within the busy airspace of Singapore, scheduling aerial photography flights can be challenging. Safety is a key concern.

To conduct any aerial photography / videography flights, a clearance from CAAS is required. In addition, the applicant / operator shall undertake to ensure that the aerial photography flight is conducted in compliance with all legislative and operational requirements and any safety conditions as stated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).

1. How do I apply for a clearance?
   The submission of an application for a clearance is free of charge, and can be done through our online form. Please allow for 14 working days for our processing of your application, as our assessment will have to be conducted in consultation with other agencies such as the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
