Overview - Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG)
The Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG) aims to support businesses in their sustainability journey by co-funding investment in energy-efficient (EE) equipment.
The EEG will provide two tiers of support:

Note about Base Tier
Companies will have up to 1 year from the time an application is approved to purchase and install the equipment and submit claims for reimbursement.
Once an application has been submitted, companies may purchase the equipment before the application outcome. However, companies will not be able to claim subsequently if the application is unsuccessful.
Eligibility and How to Apply
Applicants must meet all sector eligibility criteria at the point of application for the respective tiers of support. The project shall not have commenced at the time of application.
All EEG (Base) applications are through the Business Grants Portal. Please refer to this step-by-step guide for the application process.

Your business must:
- Be registered and operating in Singapore under SSIC 41 to 43
- Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding, with at least 1 local employee at the firm-level
- Have a group annual sales Turnover of no more than S$500mil
The equipment purchased must be used in Singapore and should not have been purchased prior to the EEG application.

Your business must:
- Be registered and operating in Singapore
- Have at least 1 local employee at the firm-level
- Have a group annual sales Turnover of no more than S$500mil
Your business need not have a minimum of 30% local shareholding criteria.
The equipment purchased must be hosted at a commercial data centre in Singapore.

Only Base Tier is applicable. Apply through the Business Grants Portal (BGP).

- Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding, with at least 1 local employee at the firm-level

In addition to the above:
Company Requirement Eligibility Harbourcraft Sector Your company must own or operate harbourcraft licensed by MPA. What to use EEG on
This pre-approved energy efficient equipment listing is not to be taken as a form of endorsement or recommendation by the participating government agencies. Companies are reminded to carry out due diligence when engaging vendors, and not to collude with vendors to carry out submission of any grant applications or claims.
Note about sector-specific equipment
Sector-specific equipment are eligible for companies within the respective sectors only. These solutions are specially curated by agencies in consultation with the industry and NEA.
